Animal Applications

With small laboratory animals, activity, feeding and drinking behavior can be monitored without having to instrument them. Motion detectors, running wheel activity and lick sensing can be inserted in any standard cage; for feeding frequency and duration, specially modified cages are available.  

When temperature and heart rate data are required, an E-Mitter is implanted providing months of data without interruption.

Behavioral data, temperature and heart rate data will be recorded with the VitalView system and software 

With larger animals, multiple weeks of activity data can be recorded using Actical for animals.

Actiwave and Actiwave cardio allow short term (24 hours) recordings of ECG, EEG, EMG data in compact data loggers/amplifiers.
