The Pro-Diary is a wrist worn electronic diary used to get input
from subjects using questions displayed on the miniature screen.

Answers are selected from a list with the touch sensitive
slider. Answer can be multiple choice, time of an event, a
number, an analog scale (high-low) or from a list. Conditional
branching is also possible based on the answer of the subject.
Replacing
paper records or a PDA, the Pro Diary will prompt users for
feedback at fixed and random intervals, every day, on specific
days at fixed or random time interval programmed using a Windows
computer.
Results are exported to a
spreadsheet or database. Questions can be in english, french or
other languagees as you establish your own questionnaire.

It is ideal to get record of mood changes, pain level, type of
activity, or questions about sleep quality, quality of life
etc... once or multiple time every day, week, week-end, end of
week based on your predetermined requirements; users can also
provide feedback when they wish. It allows additional
information to be collected in addition to actigraphy studies or
to monitor the effect of certain therapy or medication or
question a subject at regular intervals without having to call
or send email. The unit is
not
a medical device and can only be used for
research purposes.
The Pro-Diary is configured, recharged and data downloaded using
the USB port of a PC computer, Windows only.
