INTRODUCING
A NEW VERSION OF ACTIHEART |
| Heart
Rate, Physical Activity & Caloric Expenditure Recording System |
| Single-piece
device that easily measures a subject's energy expenditure by
integrating heart rate and activity data. |
New features
-
Records Inter beat interval
and Activity for up to 4 days (440 000 beats)
-
Choice of epochs: 15 sec, 30
sec, 1 min
-
Records up to 21 days
-
Records heart rate, activity
and IBI Max- Min
-
Waterproof
-
Heart rate variabilty
analysis: LF, HF, LF/HF, VLF, RMSSD, SDNN, SDANN and triangular index
-
2 year warranty
-
Advanced energy expenditure
analysis allows branched analysis, group calibration, individual
calibration using integrated step test, basal metabolic rate, VO2
max.
-
Compensation for gaps in data
by padding, extrapolation or excluding invalid points.
-
Compensation for heart rate
increase due to stress.
Actiheart is the only
heart rate recorder with an integrated accelerometer. You can
accurately and easily measure activity and heart rate as well as
calculate energy expenditure for ambulatory activities such as bike
riding, skate boarding, weight lifting, etc. Active energy
expenditure is often underestimated in these, and similar types of,
activities with the use of an accelerometer alone.
|
|
Actiheart
data has a variety of applications in the sports medicine, exercise,
physical activity and obesity research fields, for example :
Weight
& nutrition management - Behavioral modification -
Exercise intervention compliance
|
-
Unique, validated
algorithm for calculating energy expenditure
-
ECG signal processing for
highly accurate and consistent heart rate data
-
Omnidirectional
accelerometer sampling at 32 Hz
-
Digital interpretation
reports both movement intensity and duration of motion
-
21 - day recording time
at 60-second epochs
-
Reliable estimate of
oxygen consumption
|
- No chest band; clips onto two ECG electrodes worn on the chest
- Noninvasive "wear it and forget it" technology
- Compact and lightweight, weighs only 10g
- ASCII data format
- Waterproof design
- Nonvolatile memory
- Improved comprehensive software
- Ideal for use on adults & children
|
| Calculate energy expenditure noninvasively while
measuring activity and heart rate. |
|
Actiheart is a compact and rechargeable activity and heart rate recording
device. Activity and heart rate data are logged into nonvolatile memory
for later download. The data are downloaded to a computer, via the
Actiheart reader/charger, for assessment of activity, heart rate, and
calculated energy expenditure. Data are edited with full traceability and
without compromising the integrity of the original recording.
| This innovative, remarkably compact device is
designed to be used with ambulatory subjects. It contains
miniaturized accelerometer and ECG signal processing electronics.
Simply clip on two standard ECG pads and attach to the subject to
record heart rate and physical activity simultaneously for up to 12
days. |
