Animal Heart Rate

In laboratory animals, heart rate can be measured using Heart Rate E-Mitters, battery free implantable transmitters providing long term recordings. Data will be recorded and displayed with Vital View software and ER-4000 energizer and receiver. Core body temperature and activity will also be recorded with E-Mitters.

With larger animals, heart rate can be recorded from the raw ECG given by the Actiwave Cardio or by Actiwave  ECG/EEG one, two or four channels miniature amplifiers. Long recording leads are available for recording with large animals.
